About Solidigm
Solidigm makes solid-state drives, mainly for data centers, built on NAND flash memory. It was created in 2021 when SK hynix acquired Intel's NAND flash and SSD business, which SK hynix reported as a deal worth 9 billion dollars. It operates as a subsidiary of SK hynix, the South Korean memory maker. NAND flash is the non-volatile memory used in SSDs, and enterprise SSDs are built for sustained workloads in servers and storage systems.
Solidigm was founded in 2021 and is based in Rancho Cordova, CA, United States. It is listed under Memory & Storage.

What Solidigm works on
Memory & Storage
Memory and storage hold the data that processors work on. Memory such as DRAM is fast and loses its contents when power is removed. Storage such as flash (NAND) is slower, cheaper per bit and keeps data without power.
