About Ferveret
Ferveret makes liquid cooling for AI servers using a method it calls Adaptive Phase Cooling. A low-boiling dielectric fluid boils at the hot chip surface and condenses again inside the surrounding liquid, a process called subcooled boiling that is also used in nuclear reactors. This keeps vapour contained, so the system needs no water and no pressurised tanks. Its Lambert product is a rack-mounted unit built to match the form factor of direct-to-chip cooling servers. Ferveret was founded in 2021 by Reza Azizian and Matteo Bucci, who worked together at MIT on reactor heat transfer, and it went through Y Combinator.
Ferveret was founded in 2021 and is based in San Jose, CA, United States. It is listed under AI Accelerators. Reported funding is YC S21.

What Ferveret works on
AI Accelerators
An AI accelerator is a chip, or a part of a chip, designed to run machine learning faster or with less energy than a general-purpose processor. The category includes GPUs, TPUs, neural processing units (NPUs) and chips from many startups.
