About Origin Quantum
Origin Quantum is a Chinese company working on superconducting quantum computers, a different technology from the classical compute hardware that this directory mainly covers. Its listing here reflects a Wukong machine and control software, but its headquarters in Hefei and founding year of 2017 could not be confirmed from sources checked for this update. Readers should treat it as a quantum computing record that sits at the edge of the site's scope.
Origin Quantum was founded in 2017 and is based in Hefei, China. It is listed under Quantum Computing.

What Origin Quantum works on
Quantum Computing
A quantum computer is a machine that uses the rules of quantum physics to process information. Its basic unit is the qubit. A classical bit is either 0 or 1. A qubit can be in a superposition, a state that combines both, and its measured result is probabilistic.
