About Agita Labs
Agita Labs sells TrustForge, a platform that processes data in the cloud while keeping it encrypted, using specialised hardware rather than the slow mathematics of fully homomorphic encryption. Programmers can write for it in C++, Python and JavaScript. The technology grew from the Morpheus secure processor research, funded by DARPA, at the University of Michigan. The company was founded by professors Todd Austin and Valeria Bertacco and is based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. It is not an MIT spin-off.
Agita Labs was founded in 2018 and is based in Ann Arbor, MI, United States. It is listed under ASICs.

What Agita Labs works on
ASICs
An ASIC, or application-specific integrated circuit, is a chip designed to do one job or a narrow set of jobs. Its circuits are fixed when the chip is made. A CPU can run any program; an ASIC does what it was designed for and nothing else.
