About RFHIC Corporation
South Korean maker of GaN RF and microwave components, from transistors and amplifiers to microwave systems, serving telecom, radar, electronic warfare and RF energy. It leads a turquoise hydrogen project using a GaN solid-state power amplifier microwave system, funded through KEIT, with a review meeting in April 2026. In February 2026 it began supplying GaN amplifiers for a roughly KRW 18.7 billion POSTECH accelerator project running to 2029.
RFHIC Corporation was founded in 1999 and is based in Gwacheon, South Korea. It is listed under ASICs, Analog Computing.

What RFHIC Corporation works on
ASICs
An ASIC, or application-specific integrated circuit, is a chip designed to do one job or a narrow set of jobs. Its circuits are fixed when the chip is made. A CPU can run any program; an ASIC does what it was designed for and nothing else.
Analog Computing
Analog computing represents numbers as continuous physical quantities, such as voltage or current, rather than as strings of 0s and 1s. The physics of the circuit does the calculation. For example, Ohm's law and Kirchhoff's current law let a grid of resistors multiply and add numbers at once.
