SJ Semiconductor is a Chinese provider of advanced chip packaging, the stage where finished silicon dies are joined and connected. It specialises in wafer-level and 2.5D packaging, in which several chips sit side by side on a silicon interposer, a technique widely used for AI accelerators. The company began in 2014 as a joint venture between SMIC and JCET and took its current name in 2021. It operates from Jiangyin in Wuxi, Jiangsu, and has pursued a listing on Shanghai's STAR Market.
